In reference to my previous petitions for a pension, for good and faithful service for eleven years, in the Hongkong Police Force, with great credit and distinction, six years as sergeant and five as detective, from the 22nd August 1886, to the 23rd of August 1897 when I was informed by Mr May oh Captain Superintendent of Police that I was dismissed for having failed to report a gambling House, receiving bribes, I was my own accuser, prosecutor and Judge.
